As it's the first ever LowBiasMonthly and as Scarlet picked for us Beat Em Ups... I have decided to do Double Dragon III. A game I spent a lot of time with as a kid and did actually beat with a buddy once many many years ago.
It hasn't aged well, but I like it.
Poor controls, bad hit detection... but... Chin!

Ah, we both chose a Double Dragon game
I could never beat any of the original Double Dragon games legit. I can make it to the last stage in DD1, DD2 I can make it to level 6 - the one with the Megaman-esque platforms, and DD3 I couldn't even beat the first level. Major kudos to you for being able to beat this legit!

Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii.
Perhaps not what you immediately think of when you think of the Beat 'em Up Genre, but really, what are Warriors games if not the 3D incarnation of that genre?
